OSLO; OODF Workshop with HELENE – Dancing to live music

 DANCING TO LIVE MUSIC (2h) –
In this unique class we will explore how to dance to live music. We will dance specifically to two classic songs from two different genres, one classic oriental and one baladi. We will also touch on the transitions between song, tabla solo and the magic of the taqsim.

Note – this is not a dance technique class. We will work within the frames of each dancers existing vocabulary.
The Al-Saadi brothers are accompanying Helene for this workshop and you can look forward to the opportunity to practise to acoustic tabla, ney and oud.
